The current king of hip-hop, Jay-Z, has decided to freshen up the lineup for his next tour. MTV reports that the Roc-A-Fella recording artist will be joined by hip-hop heads Mos Def and De La Soul, along with rock bands 311 and Hoobastank for a string of dates dubbed The Liquid Mix Tour. Although it's a good idea, it's definitely nothing new. The recent Anger Management and Family Values spliced together big time rock and hip-hop acts, as did Lollapalooza, Wu-Tang Clan/Atari Teenage Riot/RATM and Public Enemy /Anthrax. No dates have been confirmed for the tour.
