Hole Splits; Riots Fail To Ensue

Oh, sad. After ten years rock & roll, Hole are calling it quits. Courtney
Love, Eric Erlandson and gang have decided to end their association as a band.
Love blamed a number of reasons for the band's demise, including the lawsuit
against Universal Records and, evidently, the fact that none of them could get off their
collective ass to record a new album. Courtney, in the meantime, has formed a new
band called Bastard, which featured ex-Veruca Salt chika Louise
Post and former Hole mate Patty Schemel. On top of that, Linda
Perry, former brainchild, if that phrase can be used, of 4 Non Blondes has been
working with Hole partiers Love and Schemel. If Perry
