Chad Kroeger Forms Record Label, Goes Coat and Tie Shopping

Nickelbackís curly-haired frontman Chad Kroeger has formed his own record label, 604 Records, successfully adding his name to the growing list of rock stars tuned record label executives. According to Billboard, Kroeger and longtime attorney Jonathan Simkin formed the label to "seek out and develop undiscovered talent in the music world not only in North America, but Globally." Releases on the new label will be distributed in the US through Nickelbackís home, Roadrunner Records. The first signing to 604 Records is Theory of a Dead Man, fronted by Tyler Connolly, who rips the guitar solo on "Hero" from the Spiderman soundtrack. The groupís fist single is titled "Nothing Could Come Between Us," from a forthcoming, yet-to-be titled album due September 17. The song will ship to radio next month.
