Beth Orton Ready to Break the Day, Tour

English chanteuse Beth Orton's third album, Daybreaker, is in the can and
ready to please fans worldwide of her special brand of alterna-folk. Orton has
always featured guests on her albums and this time is no exception. Appearing on
Daybreaker are a wide range of musicians including alt-country star-of-the-moment
Ryan Adams, country superstar Emmylou Harris and Everything But
The Girl's Ben Watt. Two other collaborators are ones Orton knows
very well. William Orbit makes an appearance, returning the favor after
Beth laid down vocals for his 1993 album Strange Cargo and the
Chemical Brothers are in the mix again, providing their production skills on the
album's title track (as well as a good chunk of her last album, Trailer Park) after
Orton first provided vocals for the Brothers' debut album track,
"Alive:Alone." The album drops on July 30 on Heavenly/Astralwerks with the tour kicking off two days prior in NYC.

Tracklisting of Daybreaker:
