Coldplay Tour Will Bring A Rush of Blood to the Head

The British are coming! The British are coming! Everyone's favorites, Coldplay,
are on their way to the States for a brief 8-date jaunt in August. They'll be touring in support
of new single "In My Place," which rules, even if it does rip off the intro to "Dreams Burn
Down" by shoegaze staples Ride. They'll hit all the usual spots, NYC, LA, SF,
Boston, etc., and then they'll jet off to Europe for some gigs, only to return later this fall after
they drop their expectedly brilliant sophomore release, A Rush of Blood to the Head,
due out August 27 from the lovely folks at Capitol Records and Tapes. Rumor has it that
they'll be joined by Northern Ireland's favorite sons Ash at some point for a US
tour. If you miss that, you might as well turn in your concert-goers ID card and sit at home
watching reality TV for the rest of your life, as your soul has officially been leached
