German DJ extraodinaire Paul Van Dyk is a busy, busy man.
In addition to a DVD compilation he just finished compiling, Van
Dyk has scored two movies and completed a good chunk of his
newest album. First things first, however. The DVD compilation is a
collection of remixes that Paul recently re-acquired the rights
to. He had been battling his former label over the songs, won the
rights, and remixed songs off of each of his three full length releases.
The DVD will include one fresh track, "Animation," which is from one
of the two movies he has provided the score for, La Mano Del
Zudro. The other film is One Perfect Day, an Australian
film that stars Star Wars: Episode II changeling assassin
Leeanna Walsman. Van Dyk has also written 16
songs for his next long player, the follow up to 2001's Out There
and Back but is waiting until he has wrapped up the DVD and film
score projects before he resumes work on his own album.
