Though Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl has been neglecting his Foo buddies lately by touring and recording with Queens of the Stone Age for the better part of this year, he has not forgotten them or the bandís forthcoming album. According to MTV, the Foos fourth full length will hit the streets on October 22 via RCA and promises to be heavier and more aggressive than their pop-inspired 1999 release, There is Nothing Left to Lose. No US tour dates in support of the as-yet-untitled new album have been confirmed, though the band will play a series of UK festival dates in July and August. Queens of the Stone Age upcoming third release, Songs for the Deaf, which features Grohlís drumming on all but one track, will be released on August 27 through Interscope.
