T'd off in the Park: Rock Feuds Take Center Stage at Scottish Festival

Glasgow, Scotland's T in the Park festival became a breeding ground for rock 'n' roll mischief over the weekend, as the Dave Grohl/Courtney Love feud was re-ignited and the always entertaining brothers Gallagher butted heads with Starsailor frontman James Walsh. According to a report from NME, Walsh approached Noel Gallagher backstage at the festival and inquired why the Oasis big brother called him a "cock," to which Noel replied, "I don't know what you're talking about. But you must be a cock then and, by the way, you're wearing my T-shirt." Walsh, who was wearing an Oasis tee at the time, was then greeted by little bro Liam shortly thereafter who said, "Don't ever interrupt my brother's interview again [Noel was doing numerous interviews backstage at the time]. If someone says you are a cock, then you are one. That's it." Security guards then rushed in to prevent Liam from ripping Walsh a new one. The Starsailor singer has since laughed off the incident, calling the whole thing "quite funny." Dave Grohl didn't reserve his comments about Courtney Love to the back stage area, however.

The Foo Fighters frontman stoked the flames of his "heated" rivalry with junkie rock star-wife-turned rock star-turned-wanna-be actress-turned-rock star again, Courtney Love, during his performance at T in the Park. According to NME, toward the end of the Foos set, they launched into the Love-bashing "Stacked Actress," followed by a T'd off bitch session courtesy of Grohl himself, "Now I've been pretty nice about this Courtney Love stuff for a while, but now that shit is really pissing me off," the ex-Nirvana skin-slammer spouted. He continued, "I gotta do a fucking deposition with my lawyer? Fucking shit!" Grohl and Krist Novoselic are scheduled to appear in court in September to fight for rights Nirvana's catalogue.
