Strokes Frontman's Leg Injury Forces Tour Date Cancellations

Julian Casablancas, frontman of the "it" band The Strokes, sustained a "minor leg injury" recently that has forced the band to cancel their first three scheduled support slots on the current Weezer tour. According to Launch.com, details as to how the young rocker received the injury have not been disclosed, though it has been revealed that Casablancas has been instructed to "keep off his leg for a week." The Strokes were to begin their short, 5-date support slot with Weezer on Monday (July 15) in Cuyahoga Falls, OH. The two other canceled dates are tomorrow (July 17) in Noblesville, IN, and Thursday (July 18) in Columbus, OH. The Strokes do hope to make it to the last two scheduled stops, which include July 29 in Atlanta, GA, and July 30 in Antioch, TN.
