Wednesday Express - New Order Take You Back To Theirs; Buckcherry Disband

New Order are set to provide an upcoming installment in the popular Back To Mine series. The compilation CDs have been culled in the past by Orbital, Everything But The Girl, Groove Armada, Morcheeba and Faithless. The Mancunian supergroup will bring together their selection of tracks for the next installment, due out in August.

LA dirt-rockers Buckcherry have called it quits. Or, rather, frontman Joshua Todd has left the band and the other founding member has decided he doesn't want to go on without Todd. You can choose whichever wording you like best. Perhaps best known for their cocaine-tribute, "Lit Up," Buckcherry's new school take on Guns 'n' Roses showed promise for a bit in 1999, but the band's 2001 follow-up didn't capture audiences the way the debut had. Todd's leaving further fuels rumors that he is to front the new version of Guns 'n' Roses, the one with Slash and Izzy and the rest of the ones that didn't get along with Axl. We shall see...
