Guns 'n' Roses Go Psychedelic

It was weird enough when the Stone Roses added that guy from Simple Minds back before they broke up years ago, but this one is even weirder. Evidently, the ever-changing line-up of Guns 'n' Roses has altered again, with rhythm guitarist Paul Huge being shown the door and the man brought on board? The logical choice, of course: Richard Fortus of Psychedelic Furs. Psychedelic Furs?? Can't wait for Axl Rose to croon his way through "Love My Way" while they're at it. Chartattack.com states that the current formation of the band that had to drop out of their scheduled headlining slot at the Carling Festival in Leeds, England, at the end of August includes only Rose from the original set-up. He is joined by guitarists Fortus, Buckethead and ex-Nine Inch Nailer Robin Finck, former Replacements bassist Tommy Stinson, Brian Mantia of Primus on drums and TWO keyboardists, Dizzy Reed and one-time Replicants man Chris Pitman. Whatever. It'll probably change again before they ever release any music.
