Liars Finally Re-Release Album, Set Up "Truth For The Youth" Tour

One of NYCís hottest commodities at the moment, Liars, (in addition to WIT, Radio 4, Les Savy Fav, and the rest of the underground music scene in the Apple) will finally have their album They Threw Us All In A Trench And Stuck A Monument On Top, released on August 20 thanks to Blast First/Mute. The album originally dropped back in 2001 on Gern Blandsten. Liars recently wrapped an amazing tour with Sonic Youth, and have just announced their September itinerary with Jon Spencer Blues Explosion and fellow NYC outfit the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, who Liars are currently wrecking havoc with in Europe. They Threw Us All...features 9-tracks, recorded and produced in only two days by Steve Revitte (Beastie Boys and Jon Spencer Blues Explosion). Liars will play two headlining dates in Boston and Philly, before their tour begins with the JSBX in Costa Mesa on September 17. Check out the MP3 for "Mr. You're On Fire" (complete with progrmmed hand claps and all).
