Oasis Involved In Head On Collision

Three members of Oasis, Noel Gallagher, Andy Bell, and Jay Darlington, were involved in a head on collision yesterday (8/6) in downtown Indianapolis. According to the band's website, the men were taken to a hospital by ambulance, where they received treatment for shock, cuts and bruises. Noel Gallagher was riding in the front seat and sustained "heavy facial bruising" from the airbag as well as seat belt burns. Keyboardist Jay Darlington has had to have his hand bandaged and is returning to the hospital for further treatment. As a result of these injuries, and doctors orders to rest for 48 hours, there will be no Oasis show tonight at the Murat Theater in Indianapolis. The venue was sold out. Talks are currently underway between the band's US agent and the Murat's promoter to find a time to reschedule the event at a later date. Thankfully, no one was severely injured in the collision and the band will play on. For the future, someone tell them that we drive on the right side of the road in the US.
