Sigur Ros To Tour Parenthetically In November

The Icelandic masters of the soundscape, Sigur Ros, are readying their live return to North America. Touring to support their new album, the ever-so-preciously entitled ( ) (I still can't wait to see how people verbally refer to this record), the band will initiate the whole shebang in Toronto on October 30 (the day after ( ) drops on MCA) and will play the final show on November 27 in Vancouver, BC. In case you haven't seen Sigur Ros live before, you are in for a treat. Insane soundscapes, guitars played with violin bows and huge vocal movements of bits in a made up language all fuse together into an almost religious experience. Prepare to convert.
