Finally, there is some AWESOME news to come out of Hollywood. No, it's not the highly awaited Knight Rider feature film. Variety reports that Tom Hanks, who showed his comedic talents in Dragnet and Joe Versus The Volcano, will team up with the Coen Brothers to recreate the British classic, The Ladykillers (originally done in 1955 with Peter Sellars and Alec Guiness). Hanks will play an oddball thief whose gang are a bunch of hacks posing as musicians who try to kill their landlady, who won't die. The movie will be shot in the Deep South of the US (rather than the UK) with Joel Coen in the directing chair, and his brother Ethan writing and producing the film.
