Billy Corgan has revealed that the forthcoming Zwan album is nearing completion. According to Rolling Stone, the former Smashing Pumpkins frontman broke the news on a web post saying, "The Zwan album is just about done and we are all very excited and proud that we were able to come together to make this possible." He went on to say, "Everyone has worked very hard so we could make the first Zwan record a reality by the end of this year." So while no date has been specifically set and, more importantly, no label has officially signed the band, (although rumor has it that the band has inked to Warner Bros.) it seems as if Corgan/Pumpkins fans may get a taste of some new music this holiday season. Zwan is also planning some live dates after Thanksgiving.
