Beth Orton Breaks The Day With An Acoustic Guitar This Fall

The one and only Beth Orton has lined up a 10-date acoustic tour of North America in support of her fabulous third LP, Daybreaker. The tour will get underway on November 10 in Atlanta, GA, and will wrap with a performance on KCRW on November 23. According to Rolling Stone, Orton's November 15 stop in Columbia, MO, will be a free show. Also in the works from the Orton camp is the release of a double 12" single of "Anywhere," the latest single from Daybreaker. The release will include remixes of the track by Two Lone Swordsmen, Adrian Shorewood and Four Tet.

Orton toured North America this spring with a full band and is currently on tour in the UK. On the forthcoming acoustic tour, guitarist Ted Barnes, bassist Ali Friend, and cellist Ollie Krause will on board as Orton's backing band. Check out the full tour itinerary below.
