Sum 41 Dress Like The Hives, Perform On Strokes' Set In New Video

Silly Canadian punk-poppers Sum 41 have a produced a tongue-in-cheek look at the fads of the music industry on their next video. The video for "Still Waiting" has the quartet dressed up like the Hives while playing on a set resembling the one used on "Hard To Explain" by the Strokes. This all takes place after meeting a record executive who explains to the band that they are not cool enough, that they need to alter their look and change their name to The Sums. In an interview with NME, guitarist Dave Baksch says that they are not making fun of The Hives, as they are big supporters, but just poking fun at the fact that " there's so many 'The' bands coming up."

Baksch also discussed the band's new record, Does This Look Infected? Two tracks have been recorded by the band's heavy metal bad side, who go by the name Pain For Pleasure, and the metallers may even open for Sum 41 on their next tour. Does This Look Infected? drops on November 26 and the video for "Still Waiting" can been seen on your favorite video stations in the coming weeks.
