If you like your alt-metal hard, heavy, and intricate as hell, with crazy time changes and Armenian folk influences thrown in for good measure, chances are you're a pretty big fan of System Of A Down. Chances also are you're pretty stoked to hear that SOAD are set to release a compilation of tracks culled from the last seven years, as well. The band will drop Steal This Album, most likely on November 26, although no date has been finalized. The album will consist of tracks penned from recording sessions to the multi-platinum Toxicity all the way back to 1995, prior to their signing a record deal.
Amongst the tracks expected to be included on the barebones CD (the packaging will be non-existent: it will look like a burn, with no sleeve, and all album information will be downloadable) are "Roulette," "Pictures," "Innvervision," "Boom," "Fuck The System," and "American Dream." Those subversive kids and their sneaky packaging techniques!
