Longwave Tour With The Shining, Day Sleeper EP Wakes Everyone Up

One of New York City's most talked about bands, Longwave, will hit the road in November with the ex-members of The Verve known as The Shining. The band's Fenway Recordings debut EP, Day Sleeper
produced by Dave Fridmann (Flaming Lips, Mercury Rev), takes our minds down a nostalgic '80s rock road paved by The Cure or U2 (neon jumpers excluded). Rolling Stone glowed, "Longwave make some of New York's most straight ahead rock. Longwave lead the New York charge." They are currently touring with The Vines in Europe, and will be back in the States for a CMJ bash at the Mercury Lounge on their home NYC turf on October 30.
