Rhett Miller Kicks Off First Solo Tour Tomorrow

Old 97′s frontman Rhett Miller is gearing up for his first major solo tour. The talented singer/songwriter dropped his debut solo effort, The Instigator, last month on Elektra and has lined up a 27-date tour in support of the release. From the tour opening tomorrow at the Congress Theater in Chicago, through November 2 in Tempe, AZ, Miller will be opening for Dashboard Confessional. “I’m hiring a band,” he said in an interview with Rolling Stone, “There’s a guitar player, bass player and drummer.
