Interpol Line Up 2003 US Tour Dates

With a monstrous showing at specialty radio in 2002 and one of the top 10 debut albums of the year in Rolling Stone's year-end issue, Interpol are poised for an even bigger year in 2003. The band will open up the year with a brief tour of the US and will then head to the UK (who adopted Interpol way before us Yanks) for a more extended trip across the island nation as part of the yearly NME Awards Tour with New Zealand AC/DC revivalists The Datsuns and fellow Statesiders The Polyphonic Spree. The eight-date US tour will begin on January 10 in Columbus, OH and will close on January 19 in Burlington, VT. Interpol still have a few shows left this year as well. They will wrap up 2002 with a three-night home stand at the Bowery Ballroom in NYC, all of which have already sold out. Tickets for those shows are currently being sold on eBay for $60 a pop. Those of you who have yet to hear the band's debut, Turn On The Bright Lights, need to get your ass a copy ASAP.
