Come March 18, Buzzcocks Will Have New Album On New Label

Legendary UK punkers The Buzzcocks are preparing to unleash a new album on their US fans and plan to do it with a new label. The quartet from Manchester will release a self-titled album, their seventh studio work, on Merge Records on March 18 (that's my birthday, in case you were wondering). The seminal group still consists of core members (and 24 Hour Party People cameo star) Pete Shelley and Steve Diggle but are now joined by newbies (well, since last decade) Phil Barker on drums and Tony Barber on bass. A tour is in the works, as well, and as soon as that info becomes available, we'll let you know where to line up for tickets.
