Radiohead Record Sixth Album In Eight Weeks

The recording of Radiohead's last two albums, Kid A and Amnesiac, was an epic struggle for perfection that turned months in the studio into years and pushed the 5-piece band to the breaking point. Those sessions yielded one of the greatest albums of all time (Kid A), but while recording their latest masterpiece, Radiohead took steps to capture a "performance feel," which not coincidently limited their recording time to just eight weeks. According to NME, the band has already completed recording the as-yet-untitled new offering. Mixing is scheduled to get underway shortly and expected to last into early spring. If all goes to plan, Radiohead's sixth album will be in stores in June. Keep your fingers crossed.
