Goldfrapp Leaves Felt Mountain For Black Cherry

Indie triphop-meets-cinematic soundtrack combo Goldfrapp are in the midst of finishing up their new record for Mute Records. The album, Black Cherry is their first work since 2000's well-received Felt Mountain. Sultry frontwoman Alison Goldfrapp has previously lent vocals to tracks by Orbital and Tricky but news of any collaborative efforts on her band's new album has not yet trickled out. US dates are expected to follow the release of the album, tentatively set for a spring release.
