Chicago's beloved Alkaline Trio have given the name Good Mourning to their upcoming fourth full length record. Vagrant has slated May 13 as the release date for the highly anticipated follow up to From Here To Infirmary. The Trio are cooped up in a Los Angeles studio at the moment, putting the finishing touches on the album, even though singer Matt Skiba strained his voice earlier this month, forcing them to cancel their January and February gigs. A new Alkaline Trio single, "Old School Reasons," can be heard on the new Thick Records OIL compilation, which features some of the greatest Chicago punk bands on the scene (Rise Against, Detachment Kit, Lawrence Arms, along with Duvall, Tom Daily, and Robert Nanna). That "must have" mixed bag of punk rock drops on February 11.
