Lollapalooza Will Take Flight Once Again This Summer

Like the mythical and majestic Phoenix, the groundbreaking alt-music festival Lollapalooza will rise from the ashes this summer to reclaim its spot on the rock festival mountaintop. Lollapalooza has been on hiatus for the past five years, and although rumors of its return have sprung up basically every summer since 1997, the timing is finally right. Audioslave, Incubus, Queens Of The Stone Age, Jurassic 5 and tour founder Perry Farrell's band, Jane's Addiction, have all been confirmed for this year's trek. According to MTV, members of each group will be holding a press conference today at Ameoba Music in Hollywood to announce details of the tour. We'll keep you posted as dates, venues, and additional acts are revealed.
