Fred Durst Wants Benefit Concert For Great White Victims' Families

While I will be the first to admit that I do not like Limp Bizkit one bit, I have to give the nod to Fred Durst on this one. After having gone through a similar situation with a fan dying at his band's show in Australia last year, Durst has written on the Bizkit website that he hopes to plan a benefit concert of sorts to help the families of those who were lost in Thursday night's horrific fire at the Great White show in Rhode Island. The red-hatted one stated, " I want to create some sort of benefit for the families of the ones who were lost. it feels right to get involved because I am a musician, I love music, and I love going to concerts." He went on to add," That could have been any of us!! Fortunately it wasn't and we can come together to help not only cause awareness to prevent anything like this again, but to help the people who are sincerely hurting from their loss." No word, of course, as to what he has in mind, so stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.
