Live ñ Huge Twin Cities Crowd Forces Switchfoot Into Larger Venue

You wouldn't know it, but Switchfootís performance this past weekend at the
Quest Club was a part of the band's first headlining tour. With close to 900
fans in attendance, the club was forced to open the main stage. Originally
scheduled to perform in the Ascot Room, Switchfoot launched into their 70-minute set
that included songs from the new album, The Beautiful Letdown, as well as
old favorites. The third song into the set, they dedicated "Meant to
Live" to Twin Cities native John Fields, the producer of the new album, who
was in attendance at the show. Frontman Jon Foreman explained to his fans
"We took a lot of risks over the past year...and we're glad you are still
here." Selling 14,000 units in the first week out, and selling out shows on
their current tour, one should take notice of this already established group.
