Built To Spill Is Built To Tour

Boise's prodigal sons (and no, I'm not talking Jacent Jackson and Kallao), Built To Spill, are cranking up their caravan and getting ready to take their traveling carnival on the road. Conveniently, their hometown will be the launching point of the tour, with a rock & roll extravaganza on May 9. Quite a number of cities (Englewood, CO, West Hollywood, SF, Portland, Seattle and Vancouver) will be treated to multiple shows before the end of the tour, in the aforementioned Vancouver, on June 4. While the band does not have a release date for their first album since 2001's Ancient Melodies of the Future, Billboard reports that new material will feature on this new set of gigs. Fun!
