Dave Grohl just canít stay away from the drum kit. Grohl, who recently sat behind Queens Of The Stone Age on their Songs For The Deaf record, will play drums on the upcoming Killing Joke album. NME tells us that the forthcoming disc from the legendary band, tentatively titled Axis Of Evil, will be out this summer. Meanwhile Grohlís main band Foo Fighters, are days away from kicking off their U.S. Tour.

While Dave is off doing his Killing Joke thing, the other members of the Foos will have their hands full, as well. Nate Mendel has been working with The Fire Theft, which is essentially Sunny Day Real Estate without guitarist Dan Hoerner, while FF guitarist Chris Shiflett has formed a band called Jackson with his brother Scott from Face To Face. Also joining the Shiflett clan is fellow Face To Facer Pete Parada. Not wanting to be left out, drummer Taylor Hawkins is rumored to be rockin' a project with his drum tech, called Chevy Metal. Busy as bees, these kids.
