Keith Flint of Prodigy has formed a new band, creatively titled Flint, and shooting on their first video is already underway. Controversial director Jonas Akerlund (U2, Smashing Pumpkins, Madonna), who previously worked on Prodigy's "Smack My Bitch Up" video, has been tapped to direct the debut. According to NME, the band has four confirmed members ñ Keith on vocals, Jim Davies (ex-Pitchshifter) on guitar, and two drummers, Kieran Pepper and Tony Howlett. Flint's as-yet-untitled debut album will be released in July.
Keith Flint has not left Prodigy. In fact, the group is expected to release their long-awaited new album before the end of the year. We'll keep you posted.
