Indie superheroes Belle & Sebastian have announced that they are hard at work on their fifth studio album (sixth if you count the Storytelling soundtrack as one of their albums). Work has been completed on half of the follow-up to 2000's Fold Your Hands Child, You Walk Like A Peasant, with the fey Scottish brigade having hooked up with Frankie Goes To Hollywood and Russian lesbo wannabe pop stars Tatu producer Trevor Horn. Evidently, Horn's housekeeper was the housekeeper for B&S when at Coachella in 2002, according to a story frontman Stuart Murdoch relayed to NME:
"The woman who was cleaning our caravan said she knew Trevor because she was his housekeeper in LA, and that he was interested in working with us. I actually doubted whether she knew him at all, to be honest, and we never heard anything else for six months. And then he got in touch." And the rest, as they say, is history. No word as to the release date as of yet, but when we hear, you'll hear.
