David Gahan Plots Premier Pioneering Of North America

It's not a Depeche Mode tour, but it's about the next best thing. Mode linchpin David Gahan is rocking his first solo tour of the US starting in July in celebration of his debut solo album. Reprise will drop Paper Monsters on June 3 and a month and a half later, the jaunt will begin. Atlanta is the launching point for this pioneering voyage (on July 18) and the synthpop godfather will stay on his tour bus (or in fancy-ass hotels) until August 25, when he reaches Los Angeles. DM songs are expected to be aired out on this journey, so while it's not a fully fledged Depeche Mode tour, it's still a way to get your synthpop fix.
