Live – The Oranges Band Play A Sweet Set In D.C.

So I finally got to see what the hype was all about as my hometown heroes, The Oranges Band, brought their garage inspired rock n roll to the Nation’s capital, along with Dressy Bessy last night (6/2). Playing in support of their Lookout! release All Around (featured on Player .041?) to a packed crowd on the Black Cat’s backstage, The Oranges demonstrated a relaxed stage presence which went along nicely with their charged up power pop. Lead guitarist, Dan Black, looking like he just flew in from a Herman and the Hermits convention, led the three pronged guitar attack, sporting the new black sock makes a nifty wristband indie rock fashion statement. The Oranges Band end up their spring tour with a handful of Midwest dates through June 10th.
