Modest Mouse Leave Hole For July Tour, New Album On Way

Indie favorites Modest Mouse are returning from their virtual hibernation with a new album and a summer tour. The currently nameless record is due out in September on Epic Records and will be the bandís first in three years, since 2000ís The Moon And Antarctica. Lineup changes and recording difficulties have been the root of the delay, but never fear, as the boys have new work on the way, as well as a tour. Chicago will be the launching pad for the set of dates on July 15 and the mini-tour will end 15 days later in Denver, with Radar Brothers in support for all but the Brooklyn date.\. Theyíll even add an August 29 gig in their home state of Washington at Seattleís Bumbershoot Festival.
