Rob Aston Of The Transplants Will Drop Solo Album By 2004

Warner Bros. Records will release Transplants rapper Rob Aston's debut solo album by the end of the year, according to MTV. Aston will use his nickname Skinhead Rob for the project, which will feature guest appearances from Travis Barker and Tim Armstrong, his Transplants homies, as well as Cypress Hill's DJ Muggs and the Psycho Realm's Jacken. The solo project will keep Aston busy while Barker and Armstrong are hard at work on Blink and Rancid's new albums, though a second Transplants album is also expected to be worked on here and there by all three. It's still in the early stages, so no official release date or album title have been announced for Skinhead Rob's solo project, but we'll keep you posted.
