Ever since OX4, thereís been a bit of a Ride fervor apparent. Labels have had their interest piqued in Markís pending solo album and now comes news that the Oxford quartet will release a CD of BBC sessions, recorded from 1990-1994, entitled Waves. Included in the 17-song set, along with jams like ìTime Of Her Time,î ìI Donít Know Where It Comes From,î and ìDreams Burn Down,î are two covers, one of Dead Can Danceís ìSeveranceî and ìSight Of Youî by fellow shoegazers extraordinaire, Pale Saints. Waves will drop in the UK in August 4, with a fall release tentatively planned on The First Time Records on this side of the pond.
