Damien Rice Announces Busy Summer Tour Schedule

Irish singer-songwriter Damien Rice has quite a busy summer ahead of him. His schedule will have him jet-setting back and forth between Europe and the US, playing festivals, clubs, and Conan. The first half of July, Rice will be performing at the Accelerator Festival in Malmo, Goteborg, and Stockholm Sweden, Ireland's Witnness Festival, and Scotland's T in the Park Festival. He'll then hop a flight to the States for a gig on Pier 17 - South Street Seaport in NYC, a stop at Great Plaza in Philly, and a July 22 performance on Conan. It's then back over to Europe for five dates in August throughout the Netherlands, the UK, Belgium, and Germany. You're probably getting the point by now, but the month of September will be spent in various clubs across North America, beginning September 10 at the Theatre of Living Arts in Philadelphia, PA.

The extensive tour schedule comes in support of Rice's debut full length, O. The introspective debut, produced by David Arnold (Bj?rk, Paul Oakenfold), comes packaged with a CD-sized hard cover booklet containing Rice's own artwork, lyrics and photos - definitely worth checking out.
