Pepsi Smash, a new hour-long music show will premiere this Wednesday night at 9 p.m. Eastern on the WB. Evanescence, The Ataris, Black Eyed Peas, Monica, and J Records’ talented new singer-songwriter Gavin DeGraw taped the debut episode at the Ren-Mar Studios in LA on Wednesday, July 9. Candid, behind the scenes footage will be seen throughout the hour-long program in addition to the performances. According to Launch, the WB has committed to six episodes of Pepsi Smash and is considering airing the program a second time during the week.
As you can see from the debut line-up, Pepsi Smash will feature rock, hip-hop, R&B, and pop performances. Foo Fighters, AFI, Beyonce Knowles, Michelle Branch, Ashanti, Mya, and Fabolous have all been confirmed for forthcoming episodes.
