My Bloody Valentine's Kevin Shields Gets Lost In Translation

Lost In Transition, the forthcoming
film written and directed by Virgin
Suicides
director Sophia Coppola
will be released domestically in
September
and, like her previous film, it will boast a
stellar soundtrack. My Bloody
Valentine founder Kevin Shields
has contributed four original songs to
the
project, his first new music to be released in
over 13 years. Virgin Suicides score
creators Air have also contributed
an exclusive new song to the soundtrack,
which features music from Death In
Vegas, My Bloody Valentine,
and The Jesus & Mary Chain as
well.

Lost In Transition will released by
Focus Features in late September and stars
Bill Murray, Scarlett
Johansson (Ghost World),
Giovanni Ribisi, and Anna
