Libertines Touring US, Re-Releasing Up The Bracket In UK

Those London troublemakers better known as The Libertines have finally made their way to the US for a proper tour. After canceling dates in January and February and after coming over for Coachella, the boys (minus Pete, who is still in London, and whose arrest this week for burglary attests to his ever-present ability to get into trouble) will kick off a US tour tonight at popscene in San Francisco (hey, Iíve heard of that place!). They will take the day off tomorrow, before gigging again in the City By The Bay at Slimís and head off around the country, stopping in various and sundry towns before wrapping up on August 19 in The Big Easy. That night ALREADY sounds like trouble to me! Also, their debut record, Up The Bracket, is being re-released in their home country, adding the bonus track ìWhat A Waster,î and including an added DVD with the videos for ìI Get Along,î ìTime For Heroes,î and the title track. Hooray for bonus material! Go out and support 2003ís version of The Clash and see what the hullabaloo is all about.
