Travis, Elbow, Ash To Play Small UK Gigs For Charity In March 2004

Save your pennies and bank your air miles and plan on being in the UK during the first week of March, because the Barfly clubs in London, Liverpool, Glasgow, Cardiff, Exeter, and York will be hosting special live shows benefiting charity. War Child and Shelter will be the beneficiaries and the performers will include stellar acts such as Travis, Ash, Elbow, Polyphonic Spree, David Gray and Badly Drawn Boy. There will be guest star DJs before and after each gig, as well, and tickets are awarded via lottery. Five pairs of tickets will be held aside and auctioned off to the highest bidder for each show, except unlike the Ticketmaster fiasco, this money DOES go to charity. Stay tuned for further band announcements and line up finalizations.
