Despite a keyboard bit that sounds like Supertramp and having a hook that is primarily comprised of Billy Joel-like harmonica, Eastbourne trio Easyworldís American-baiting comeback single, ì2nd Amendment,î is quite a good tune. This may have something to do with frontman Dav Ford and his emotive tones. The boy can sing, that is foí shoí. The track is the first release off the three-pieceís upcoming sophomore release, Kill The Last Romantic, out early next year on Jive UK and finds them in a much different headspace than on their 2002 debut. Plus, no matter how many dodgy ë80s references are thrown about, theyíre still loads better than fellow townies Toploader. Put that in your pipe and smoke it, hippie.
