New Prodigy Album Pushed Back Until Mid-2004

After originally being slated for release in the May of 2003, it seems that Prodigy's follow up to 1997's The Fat Of The Land, won't be ready until the middle of next year. Not only that, but production work on the new release didn't even start until four months ago. Prodigy's Liam Howlett issued a statement addressing the current status of the highly anticipated new album. "The recording of Prodigy's forthcoming album, tentatively titled Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned, is heavily underway," the statement read. "Recording of the album started about four months ago. Intentions are to deliver the new album shortly after the new year. Single releases will precede a spring/summer album release date." We'll let you know as soon as more release details are firmed up, but I wouldn't hold your breath.
