Express - Led Zep Man To Produce Datsuns; Pearl Jam Pay Tribute

New Zealand rockers The Datsuns are about to start recording their sophomore album and theyíve brought in a special someone to twist the knobs. In keeping with their rock & roll core, John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin will be handling the production duties on the record. According to NME.com, eight songs have been written, with some tunes predating their self-titled debut.

A little treat has been included on the new Pearl Jam rarities disc, Lost Dogs. Well, there are a ton of treats, from rarities to rerecorded B-sides and the lot, but hidden at the end of the disc is Eddie Vedderís tribute to Layne Staley, called "4/20/02," named so because it was written on the day of Staleyís passing. Look for it as a ìhidden trackî at the end of the CD.
