I guess I jumped the gun a bit yesterday when I suggested that Scott Weiland would be relieved of his Velvet Revolver duties. Although a judge ordered him immediately into a live-in rehab/detox program, he has not been locked up for good. Heís actually being let out for four hours a day, for 10 days straight, starting November 7, to record the vocals for the Revolver album. Heíll be required to take a drug test each day upon returning from the studio and will be accompanied to the recordings by a policeman. After his detox period is up, Weiland will be placed in a 6-month rehab program and then outpatient care for however much longer it takes; it could last up to a year and a half. Regardless, this still sounds good for Scott, as he gets to record and, hopefully, will finally get his disease sorted out once and for all.
