The Stills Land Opening Slot On Ryan Adams December Tour

New York-based alt-country singer/songwriter turned rock star (in a good way) Ryan Adams, will be hitting the road next month for an eight-date tour in support of his critically acclaimed new album Rock N Roll. The disc finds Adams abandoning his acoustic guitar in favor of an electric. His slow, introspective ballads are replaced by good old fashioned rock, and I, along with every music mag I've seen, are big fans. A Ryan Adams tour in itself is something to get excited about, but this time around he's bringing with him none other than destined-to-be-huge-in-2004 band, The Stills. The Montreal-based quartet just released their debut full length, Logic Will Break Your Heart, and this Adams tour is already going to be their third trek in support of the record. No one had ever heard of them before the middle of this year, and their first two tours were with Interpol and Echo & The Bunnymen. If you don't get it yet, they are damn good.
