The first few acts have signed on for the tenth annual Vans Warped Tour, including New Found Glory, Taking Back Sunday, and Coheed And Cambria. To celebrate the tour's successful ten year run, next year's trek will culminate with a star-studded reunion show that will feature bands from throughout the tour's history. Tour founder Kevin Lyman told Billboard, "We've had a lot of interest and will have confirmations in the coming months."
A battle of the bands, in which four unsigned bands will compete for a spot on the 2004 Warped Tour, will take place December 10 at the Key Club in Los Angeles. Event organizers also promise a "very special guest."
In the new year, the Warped Tour will perform for the first time in Japan. Thursday, Bouncing Souls, Slick Shoes and more will bring the rock to Tokyo's Studio Coast on January 10-11.
