Evanescence Postpones US Tour Dates

Christian rockers turned non-Christian rockers (after selling a ton of records) Evanescence have pulled out of their North American tour, beginning tonight in Tucson, AZ. Though no reason was given, it's clear that the cancelation is either a) the wrath of God, who is pissed about the band riding his coattails to the top of the charts then abandoning him, or b) it has something to do with the abrupt departure of founding guitarist Ben Moody (who frontwoman Amy Lee may or may not have had a relationship with). The affected dates stretch through December 7 at the Allen Co. Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, IN. However, three Canadian dates, beginning December 12 in Montreal, have yet to get the axe. A tour of New Zealand, Australia, and Japan remains intact as well.

The canceled North American tour dates will be made up next year. See below for a complete listing.
